Why Inventory Depth Matters
In the power semiconductor market, availability is as important as specification. An engineer can select the ideal IGBT or MOSFET for an inverter, only to lose weeks when the part is out of stock and on a 16-week factory allocation. Distributors exist to absorb exactly this risk, but absorbing it requires deliberate inventory strategy rather than opportunistic buying. This expansion of BeiLuo's stocking programs is a direct response to what our customers told us over the past two years: forecast accuracy is rising, projects are moving faster, and the production line cannot wait for a broker to source a part at a premium.
What the Expansion Covers
The new stocking programs add more than forty fast-moving models across the families our customers design in most: TrenchStop IGBTs such as the IKW40N120H3 and IGW75N60H3, CoolMOS and OptiMOS MOSFETs including the IPP075N15N3G and IPP60R099P6, and the microcontrollers and sensors that surround them in a typical bill of materials. The list was not chosen at random. It combines our own sales history, the design activity our FAE team sees in customer projects, and the open order backlog, so the inventory mirrors what is actually being designed, not what a catalog suggests.
Coverage of the Full Bill of Materials
This breadth also simplifies procurement administration. Instead of issuing multiple purchase orders to several suppliers for one design, a customer consolidates the build into a single order with a single quality agreement. The paperwork that follows the goods, including the import declaration and certificate of origin, is prepared to the same standard across every line, so an audit of one product family is effectively an audit of the whole account.
A three-phase inverter design does not stop at the power stage. The gate driver, the bootstrap supply, the current sensing and the microcontroller all need to be available at the same time for a build to proceed. The stocking programs therefore cover the companion parts that frequently gate production: gate drivers, isolated supplies and the XMC and AURIX microcontroller families used for motor control. By stocking the whole chain, we remove the classic failure mode where the IGBT arrives but the MCU is on allocation.
Regional Warehouses and Delivery
Stock is staged across regional warehouses so that delivery time scales with geography rather than with customs clearance. Customers in manufacturing regions can expect same-week dispatch for standard orders, with the import documentation prepared before the goods move. The warehouse teams maintain controlled storage for moisture-sensitive components, and every lot is date-coded and traceable back to the original factory shipment, which matters for projects subject to automotive or industrial quality audits.
Documentation and Compliance Support
Volume buyers know that the paperwork can delay a line as easily as a missing part. Every stocked item ships with the import declaration and, where applicable, the certificate of origin and RoHS compliance documentation. For customers who export finished goods to the European Union or other regulated markets, the audit trail from distributor stock to final product is a genuine competitive advantage, because it answers compliance questions before they are asked.
Pricing and Supply Agreements
Inventory is only half of a supply arrangement; the other half is the commercial framework around it. For programs with forecastable demand, we offer supply agreements that lock pricing for a defined volume window, with periodic price review aligned to the semiconductor cycle. This gives purchasing teams budget stability while preserving the flexibility to adjust quantities as the forecast develops. The stocking programs complement these agreements, because a forecast that turns into a firm order can ship from stock immediately, while the agreed lead time covers the replenishment of the warehouse position.
What This Means for Customers
The practical effect is shorter lead time and lower risk. A customer who designs around a stocked model can move from prototype to pilot production without waiting out a factory lead time, and can hold smaller safety stock because the supply point is closer and more predictable. Engineering teams also benefit indirectly: the FAE team can recommend alternatives from the same family when a design target changes, because the alternatives are in stock too.
How to Check Availability
Availability status is published for every stocked model in the product catalog, and the stock position is refreshed against warehouse records rather than static lists. Customers who need a firm delivery date can raise the requirement through their account manager, who will confirm the lot, the packaging and the documentation before the order is placed. For models that are still on factory allocation, the FAE team can identify the closest stocked alternative and support the requalification, which frequently turns a 16-week problem into a same-week solution.
Next Steps
Customers can check the current availability of any model by contacting their BeiLuo account manager or by browsing the product catalog, which now reflects the expanded stocking status for each part. The expansion is the first of two phases; the second phase extends the same approach to sensors and to higher-voltage IGBT modules for renewable energy applications. We will announce the second phase on this news page when the stock is in place.
